PROJECT DESCRIPTION, IDEAS, AIMS:

We aim to take a sustainable journey towards raising awareness of the human impact upon our environment and finding solutions at a local level to global issues such as pollution (litter, traffic, acid rain); conservation of energy; waste and to respect our school grounds. Our challenge is to focus on recycling and place this within the context of the wider agenda of sustainability, including our care for oneself and for each other (across cultures, distances and generations).
The active involvement of the students in the planning and implementation of the project. The evaluation and progress of the project: They usually work on a task on lessons and sometimes after lessons or at home. An action team is created and eco-warriorsare nominated. Children advertise the campaign to raise awareness and create a school environmental motto. Action team participate in half-termly planning, review meetings and communicate through ICT.
